Introduced in 2010, the Porsche 997 Carrera GTS was Stuttgart's unapologetic answer to enthusiasts craving a sharper, more visceral driving experience. Slotting neatly between the Carrera S and the hardcore GT3, the GTS wasn't just a clever marketing ploy—it was a thoughtfully engineered sweet spot, blending everyday usability with track-ready performance in a way only Porsche could convincingly pull off.

Under the subtly widened rear hips sat a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six, tuned to deliver 408 horsepower—23 more than the Carrera S.
