Underneath its provocative curves and dramatic styling—courtesy of Damian McTaggart—the Tuscan MKI housed TVR's own Speed Six engine, a naturally aspirated inline-six that howled gloriously to nearly 8,000 rpm. With around 360 horsepower on tap and tipping the scales at just over a tonne, the Tuscan delivered a visceral, edge-of-your-seat experience. Its tubular steel chassis and double wishbone suspension translated every nuance of the road directly into the driver's fingertips, demanding respect and rewarding skillful handling.
